How can I make a booking?

Do I need a credit card to make a booking?
You’ll need a debit or credit card to make your booking.
How can I cancel my booking?
Pre-paid reservations are unfortunately non-refundable. If you chose the option to pay at the property, you can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 24h prior the arrival date directly on the platform you booked.
Can I change my reservation?
Pre-paid reservations are unfortunately non-adjustable. If you chose the option to pay at the property, you can adjust the reservation up to 24h prior the arrival date directly on the platform you reserved.
Can I change my room type after I’ve booked?
Depending on your booking conditions, you can request any changes on the website you booked. So only email us when you have booked directly via our website. For other platforms you have to contact that platform directly. You can also request an upgrade through our online check-in or upon arrival.
Can I add /remove a person on my reservation
This is subject to availability. You can request it on the platform where you booked. If you booked on our website please call us 24/7 or contact us at reservation@viaantwerp.com with a request to add a person

Payments, taxes & refunds
We accept credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Maestro, V-Pay). When you have paid with credit card, please make sure that you bring that credit card or an authorization form from the owner of the card. • Unfortunately we do not accept cash as payment method.
How long does it take for the pre-authorisation to be returned to me?
The release of the authorization is done on the same day after we inspect the room on your check-out. Depending on your bank, it may take up to a week for the funds to be available on your account.
Can I receive a refund if there are less people in my room than initially booked?
The price is paid per room, and not per person. Therefore you won’t be able to get a refund if less number of people arrive than the initially booked.
City tax is a local municipality tax that needs to be paid upon check-in by every guest, totalling €2,97 as per year 2025, per person per night (this could change per year). This tax cannot be paid in advance and is not included in the amount you pre-paid online

1. From Antwerp Central Station (Antwerpen-Centraal)
- Exit the station and cross Astridplein to reach the tram and bus stops.
- Take tram 24 (toward Silsburg Borgerhout) and get off at the Joe English – Collegelaan stop.
- Walk down Joe Englishstraat—the hotel is located at the end of this street.
You can walk the way around, it should take roughly 10 minutes.
2. From the Airport
Brussels Zaventem (BRU):
- Train: Direct trains to Antwerp Central take about 34–37 minutes.
- Bus: The Airport Express shuttle stops at Astridplein, which is only 200 meters from the hotel.
Antwerp International Airport (ANR/Deurne):
- A similar shuttle service drops you off at Astridplein (~200 m from the hotel).
- Taxi or car rental are also available options.
3. Coming by Car
- From Brussels, Ghent, Mechelen, or the coast: Take the E19 ring road, exit at “Borgerhout”, follow signs to the city center, then locate Joe Englishstraat. Be aware it is a one-way street.
- From Aachen, Hasselt, or Turnhout: Use E313–E34, exit at “Antwerpen Centrum”, left onto Singel, then onto Luitenant Lippenslaan, and proceed with the same Uturn into Joe Englishstraat.
4. Getting There Late (Night Buses & Taxis)
While there’s no specific info on night buses to Via Antwerp, here’s what travelers typically do:

What is and isn’t allowed?
Smoking is not allowed inside the building and rooms. It is also not permitted to smoke in the internal terrace as well. You can smoke outside of the Hotel.
Unfortunately, due to the big number of guests we do not accept packages. We are happy to provide you with a few locations where you can get your package delivered.
Friends and family are always welcome to visit within the general areas around the lobby and restaurant. People who are not guests and registered in the hotel won’t be allowed in the rooms.
Guests under 18 years of age are welcome to stay with us only after having permission from a parent (a parental form needs to be filled and signed by a parent).
It is not allowed to bring your own alcohol to our restaurant or lobby.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at the property. Service dogs are allowed with the corresponding documentation.

Is reception open 24/7
Yes! Our reception is open 24/7 and our team is always available.
Early check-in or late check-out possible?
- You can check in early, from 7:00am, based on availability for a € 20 fee.
- Late check out is upon availability as well. The cost is € 20 per room.
- You can check out until 13:00 the latest. \Of course, you can always leave your luggage with us for free.

The Online check-in does gives you the opportunity to add all necessary information prior to your arrival and will reduce the total check-in time. If you choose to do the online check-in you still need to pass by reception to collect your room code and finalize the process.
Can I store my luggage upon arrival/check-out?
Of course, you can store your luggage for free with us at your arrival or departure.

Towels, pillows, duvet, fresh bed linen, shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer are included to all of our rooms.

Children and babies?
We provide baby cots for no extra charge based on availability. Please contact us before your arrival to arrange it.
Long stay options?
The maximum number of days you can stay is 30 days. After that, we ask you to check out. You may return for a new stay after 30 days of being checked out.

Laundry service? Yes, check with our staff at reception and we will help you out with your laundry!
Unfortunately, our hotel does not have its own parking facility. However, you can park on the street for a fee or take advantage of the following paid parking options nearby:
- Park Bee – A private parking lot provided by an external operator, located at Plantin en Moretuslei 101. It is a 5-minute walk from Via Antwerp and costs €15 per 24 hours.
- Q-Park Antwerpen (Parking Kievit) – A spacious underground parking lot located at Somersstraat 21. It is a 10-minute walk from Via Antwerp and costs €28 per 24 hours.

In order to check-in, you’ll need to present a valid identification document. This is a physical ID Card or Passport. Photos of documents are not accepted. The document may not be expired. Any other form of document is not accepted.
You can find the parent consent form here. After completing it, please email it to reception@viaantwerp.com or hand it in at check-in.
