After a day in town, MEA, the restaurant on the ground floor, is where the evening begins. Chef Omri McNabb, formerly of The Palomar in London, cooks modern Eastern Mediterranean, and dinner is served from Tuesday to Saturday between 18:00 and 22:00.

A walk through Zurenborg
Antwerpen-Centraal is a six-minute walk away, and the Art Nouveau houses of the Cogels-Osylei, worth slowing down for, are a few minutes from the hotel. Arriving by train from Brussels Airport takes 34 to 37 minutes. Antwerp Zoo is a twenty minute walk through Zurenborg, or ten minutes by tram, and tram 24 stops at Joe English - Collegelaan. After dinner the bar is open until 23:00 from Tuesday to Friday, and on Saturday the bar stays open until midnight. The reception is open around the clock, so coming back late from the city is never a problem. The city tax of €3.58 per person per night is paid at check-in.
